Mansion and Lot Sell for Massive Sum in Miami Beach

Miami Beach is an area of the country known for high-end properties and luxurious, expensive homes. One of the most recent high-end purchases also happens to be one of the most impressive. A buyer from California purchased a mansion located on the waterfront along North Bay Road, along with a lot, for $35.4 million, which is a record sale for Miami Beach in 2019. The mansion itself, located at 6360 North Bay Road, was sold for $23.85 million, and the lot next to it at 6343 North Bay Road, sold for $11.55 million.

It is unknown just what the buyer plans to do with the lot that they bought next to the mansion if anything. Purchasing the lot will ensure that no one else will be building there, which could increase the amount of privacy for the estate. When the properties were listed, the asking price for both when combined was $44.5 million, and they ended up selling for just a little bit below 20% of the asking price.

What Does the Mansion Offer?

If you are interested in what you might get for a $23.85 million mansion, the answer is quite a lot. It is a 13,381-square-foot home along with a guest house. In all, there are 14 full bathrooms and three half-bathrooms. There are also 13 bedrooms in the property. The lot that holds the mansion is quite large, measuring 27,600 square feet. It also has 112 feet of water frontage. Of course, this is just the beginning of what this mansion can offer.

It also has 3,000 square feet of decks on the rooftop, along with a cabana house with a kitchenette. You can expect a summer kitchen, mosaic glass pool, a pier dock, spa, and even a three-car garage. It is beautiful, has excellent views, and the lot next door has 100 feet of water frontage, as well.

While not everyone has the means to buy a multimillion-dollar mansion and lot, it is fascinating to see what these types of properties have to offer. It will also be interesting to see whether the owner of the lot decides to expand the estate and add more buildings, or if they merely wanted to buy the lot as a means to provide more of a buffer between neighbors.
